Has anyone ever rolled Super Vision for a QB? Would it be worth it?

Interesting, I think if you pair that with high vision it could be effective.

The only problem I have with SA's that are foriegn to your player is that you can only really pump them up to 4. I believe that SA's are not really effective until you pump them up to 8+.

Ya.... and with a rare roll two would be a stretch.

However, you never know. I don't know of many other OOP SAs that a pocket QB would want... If you only got one with Super Vision you could settle for Field General on the second. +4 Super Vision wouldn't be perfect, but it's an added bonus as 2 Field General is gonna be a waste since you can pump up 4 with your SP.

I would take the Super vision to 4 if my vision was 70+. Vision=Accuracy IMO.

I don't know where the quote is now, but I am 100% sure I read Bort confirm that Super Vision only works in the specific situations mentioned in the description, which is to say when a player is trying to avoid being faked or reading a developing offensive play to get in position. So unless your QB plays on defense, the only thing Super Vision will do is help him avoid being faked out by defenders returning an INT or fumble.

SAs are not just stat buffs that are randomly activated before a play and boost one or more stats for that play. They are built in to certain roles the games makes in very specific situations.

For example:
A DB doesn't check before the start of the play to see whether or not Super Vision activates and boosts his vision stat. Instead, when he attempts an action that checks for Super Vision on the player, a roll is made to see if he gets a bonus to his vision for that specific action. It is possible a player could fail to activate Super Vision on a vision check and allow his receiver to make a catch but then successfully activate Super Vision to help avoid being faked out by the receiver that same play.

Putting aside rsbs post for the moment (which I largely agree with) is it even possible for a qb to roll SV? Ive never seen or heard of it personally.

Now that I think about it, Bort posted about this when he updated all the VA descriptions a while back.

Formerly the bottom part of "Super Vision" used to say something like "Additional Levels: Increases the bonus to vision" which was a little vague. Now it says "Additional Levels: Increases bonus toward avoiding fakes and noticing plays develop" to be a little more clear that it isn't just an all-around vision buff, just a situational modifier.
