That is to say, if I could have 113 speed and 70 agility, or 110 speed and 73 agility, I would go with whichever I felt improved performance the most, rather than what would cost the most SP to achieve.
Of course that's a bit of a poor analogy in some respects, because raising agility to 73 from 70 via SP isn't at all unfeasible.
Most of my players have two attributes in the 75-85 range (base). My linemen (off and def), linebackers, my RB will, and my FB would have if I'd known then what I know now.
I do not believe in focusing on pushing one attribute super high at the expense of others, unless I continue to see linearly proportional increases in performance.
Since custom EQ is much more costly to "fix" than regular or AEQ, I would much rather play it "safe" and split it, remaining flexible with the EQ that doesn't cost flex points to change/experiment with. I've not yet found that +3 in my second most important attribute won't improve performance at least as much as an additional +3 in the "primary" attribute would.so its play it safe then? i know i wish on some of my guys i put it in different attributes. oh well. i wont be paying flex to change it

and to Urrymonster, yeah i know there is more than one "main" attribute... bad choice of words, i meant to say highest value attribute.
