already have 10 ball hawk, and have 8 points to put in something other than sure tackler. ideas?

what does your guy do in his defensive scheme. you can't just expect to get a straight up answer when no one really knows the history of your player, the defense he is in, or what his build looks like.

Ball Hawk and Sure Tackler indicate to me this is a coverage LB. If you have the STR/TAK to play on "Balanced or Power" tackling, then Power Tackler is a solid choice. If you want to add another coverage VA, then Jackhammer might be good for him.

I believe LB's should be able to play on balance tackling (so have the necessary stats to do so), which computes to the following VA's:

Power Tackler (7.5 : 1 ratio between tck and FF last season)
Jack Hammer (knocking the ball loose counted for 60% of my PD's last season)
Helmet Crash
Clutch

None of you guys use Football Genius? With the .5% bonus and the importance of vision at this position it was my first choice...

Not a bad of an idea if you are used as coverage or outside containment. For those used for blitzing or inside run support, going after the tackling VA's would be a little more useful.

That's what I have with my LB. He has 2nd capped vision and he absolutely shuts down the TE in pass coverage.

ROLB shouldn't have Ballhawk that is ridiculous.

Unless your DC is dropping you off in coverage all the time, it's rather pointless to have Ballhawk.
