Forum > USA BBB Leagues > USA BBB #10 > Team from Canada AAA (one step from the pro-league) trying to move down

My team (The Ottowa Chiefs) are severely out-matched in the Canada AAA #2 league, as we are a first-year team, playing against established teams from the previous season.

We were able to win two games, but they were against the two teams that will be relagated to AA because they are the worst two teams in the league. (Also gutted/added teams)

It has stunted the growth of the players on my team, as getting smashed in several consecutive games tends to wear on the players' morale.

We are looking for a fresh start against teams that are closer to our level. And I know that there are several teams in this league that have enough going on to make them far more competetive against the Canada AAA teams than we are equipped to be.

We are not trying to be "big fish, in a small pond", we are just tired of being used as "bait" for the big fish.

Any owners who are interested in meeting the challenge of the bigger pond can PM me.

Also, feel free to have a look at my roster, and the rosters of the teams in our current conference, to see if your team can match-up against them.

Considering the majority of those teams are level 16-18 at least, I would say you are barking up the wrong tree. Your better luck would be touching on some of the USA A or AA teams, but you also have to understand some people don't like the idea of setting up their team into Canada.

Thanks. I do understand that the USA leagues seem to be a popular area. But You never know what some other owner might be interested in. Maybe a quicker path to a pro league, or just a stiffer bunch of competition.

Thanks for the friendly response.

Hey, I understand where you're coming from. It's hard being new in an established league. I hope you find a new place to settle at. I'm sure there are a lot of areas wanting to swap around. I personally think every league is the same and just as good as another one. Other than the USA Pro, of course. That one's sort of established and will stay that way until season 10, day 40.

Good luck!

Why do people care what country their league is in?

I don't. I just want to go where we aren't so heavily out-manned. I'm not sure why so many teams are set on being in the USA leagues, over all others.

Prob because the game originated in USA and people want to represent...plus a good portion of GLBers are American so that factors into it. Personaly speaking, I could care less where my web-based football video game was located, but who am I to say...

You're a team owner. I agree with you guys, US, Brazil or Slovenia. It didn't matter to me as long as I got a team.
