Ok so I've been reading a lot about how to start out a new QB and there are some things I get and some I dont. To be clear on a few things, I should to...

1. Always do intense training (starting with throwing/vision? then move into what next?)
2. I should try and soft cap throwing first (at what level is the soft cap and do I use the skill points to try and reach that mark? or only after i have do i use my SPs?)
3.Use all my gear to focus on one attribute (throwing)
4. Dont train SA until later levels (not sure when any advice?)

I know I would want to be a passing QB so any advice on cap order...im still undecided on strength versus vision so any tips will do. Other than that just general thoughts and help would be appreciated!

This is my guy as of now

1. Strength or Confidence
2. not sure the exact number. its on the wikipage though.
3. Correct. Load up on throwing for custom gear.
4. level 25 seems to be the typical response to this.

ok i think i got a little better feel on soft caps now...but for intense combo training because there isnt always a good matching skill exercise i should move from throwing/vision to either throwing/strength or throwing confidence right but regardless of what i do...it would be paired with throwing?

and at what point do i start spending my SPs for throwing...would it be at first softcap or second?

Throwing/Strength till you can soft cap strength, Throwing/Vision until you can soft cap Throwing, Vision/Confidence until you can soft cap vision.......................

next time you build a qb you want to roll until you get a taller guy. 6'1" is short for a qb.

Train throwing and strength, then cap strength. You won't have to touch it again as it will get auto lvl points. Then train throwing and vision and cap throwing. Continue to put points into throwing till the 3rd cap 68. then 2nd cap vision, then cap conf. By now you're Payton Manning or Tom Brady.

ok so to see if i got this straight...im gonna need to intense train throwing and strength until strength is first cap (48.06). then i want to switch and intese train throwing and vision until throwing is capped (which cap and do you know about what level range i'd be at here?). i was told to put all my stored SPs into throwing once i can reach its second cap (60.51) but then you want me to continue adding the SPs i get from bonus tokens into throwing until 3rd cap (67.97). then finally once throwing is at 3 cap, i switch and intense train throwing and confidence (or just normal conf?)

i have a feeling id be higher than level 25 here so when do i ever put SPs into SAs?

...as always thanks for the help

soft caps dont take into account the points from equipment right? so i should use my SPs when my natural ability + SPs = 2nd soft cap for throwing?

Don't be surprised to see your QB with rubbish stats for the first couple of seasons, keep with your plan and he should be pretty solid.
