Catch ball does work for CBs, but I don't remember where Bort said it.

Both Catch Ball % and Interception % should theoretically roll before anything the WR does.
Defender/WR position
Defender INT roll (this is where both fake % pieces should come into play)
Defender PD roll
Receiver catch roll

Are we really getting back into this? You had to leave the last two posts we were arguing in because you couldn't make a single valid argument. Nowhere in that post, and nowhere in any post, have I claimed to be the best corner ever. I only claimed that I am better than you, which I am. Claiming that I have no evidence to back up my claims isn't a proper argument in response to what I wrote. I stated in my response that I don't have any evidence, only that I'm pretty sure Bort has stated that they are the same thing. By making that argument, you are only making yourself look petty and immature, something you do often in this forum.

and you might be? its AEQ your not spending SPs just Bonus tokens. Bort has stated(I don't remember where) that CBs get a first crack at the ball if they are in position to make a play. So my thinking is that you get a bonus to to the intercept ball roll, but with catch chance, you don't get a bonus to the initial intercept roll. The bonus is applied to the catch ball chance after the WR fails his catch ball roll. Of course all this is probably wrong as Bort is confusing but thats what I think happens

Regardless of your AEQ, you will never get a "catch ball" chance after the WR. All attempts by a CB to catch the ball are interception chances, regardless of if the WR has had a crack at it or not.

Simply put, the "catch chance" either works EXACTLY the same for CBs as the "INT chance" which is the most likely scenario, or it doesn't work at all. An AEQ piece, which is a modifier to regular rolls, will not add extra rolls for your player...

For instance, if a WR magically got a +15% int chance piece, it'd be illogical that he'd suddenly have a new INT roll which lets him roll before the CB gets a chance.

I do not understand. How does changing the coverage style change your risk of being beaten by the run?

My CB has had "Catch Ball Chance" for 2 (maybe 3) season now and he has led his conference in South America Pro in INT's the last 2 seasons.

I completely believe that "Catch Ball Chance" is partially responsible for that.
