That the seeding for the playoffs is probably going to be determined by an out of conference game in the last week. I dunno, it just seems out of place.

I have heard rumors (don't know if it's true) that the conference head-to-head record is the 2nd tie breaker for the "Super Bowl" (seed being the first). For example, if both #1 seeds make it to the BBB#2 championship game, the conference who did better in week 16's will get the home game. I don't think this is as bad as the point you mentioned, but I don't really like this either. It kinda reminds me of the whole "This time it counts" thing with the baseball all-star game the past couple years.
