So, you are right, you didn't technically call for a ban, you just wondered out loud why there wasn't one.

you are reading too much into that statement.

the equipment glitch was immediately caught and Bort had a way to reverse it.

the punting XP glitch wasn't caught immediately and then wasn't stopped for over a season because either Bort didn't catch it or had better things to fix first.

by the time he fixed the loophole, there was no way to undo it.

for the first time since that time, he now has an easy solution to fix it.


my point was not that they were equally cheating. my point was that they equally got extra SPs in effect which makes it equally unfair.


do I need to write a book on every statement I make so that it is clear enough for everyon who could possibly interpret it another way?

You are usually against shady stuff in all forms in your crazy mind. I thought you would be against the punting exploit (and probably would have been if it were anyone but me who brought it up)

if I was making personal, direct statements to a single individual on a public forum, I know a mod would lock it immediately and say "send a PM", but if they are direct attacks on SI, then it is cool.

No double standards at all.
