i myself have a great receiving TE that i slow built for 2-3 seasons. i went speed, agility, catching first. than working on jumping, vision, confidence. ive also recently started training blocking to round up my build and become a well balanced and top TE. im also in the 90's speed which also is a huge help.

I would train vision/catch first... cap catching then move into agi/vision cap vision etc etc. The rest is up for discussion.

And no, you save your SP until you can 1 cap your first attribute then you move onto the next.

no offense but that's a terrible idea. Keep your shit focused. Balanced TE's are fail.

I'll make my TE available to see. He is hella fast and catches everything. He went for over 1,000 yds and 12 TDs this year.

Speed is huge because the TEs are usually guarded by the LBs who generally are slower. Also put a lot into agility as it makes the route running much more precise.

Lets not inflate the numbers, he did have 300+ yards and 9 TD's in one blowout game

I do agree that you need to pick one way and stick with it. Either Receiving or Blocking. I would make use of your caps at the lower levels. I started by taking my Catching to 48 to begin with, and then moved to speed and AGI. While training my next important attributes to around the 30 mark

well you havnt seen my TE's build. his receiving is more than elite. so balancing him to where he can be the lone TE on the team would save me money for my team

Specialization is key, and will lead to better results. Ask Henry Ford.

Cat/Vis would be my suggestion, since both are primaries and benefit greatly from being capped first.

I agree...my TE had about the same numbers as yours minus the 300/9td game. Never had a game with inflated stats for mine.
I wouldnt say my TE is specialized at all. NOTHING is even to the 2nd cap and i still do decent for a TE. Then again i know most TEs dont have a jumping or confidence above 50 like i do.
