confidence is only good for QBs that scamble frequently. they are the the only ones who really use it.

right...

I would think that would be the opposite...a passing QB needs confidence so that when he makes a mistake he does not go downhill and start throwing interceptions and bad passes because of bad moral

right...

Bro do you ever say anything other than "right..."
Say something that contributes to the thread.

I'm gonna chime in. Some people seem to think the sim didn't change going into Season 9 and continued in Season 10. When this happened Strength became just as important as Vision. Strength basically getting the ball to the WR's quicker. Season 7 and Season 8 yes Vision meant alot more than Strength but again not the case for the present GLB Sim. So my ideal build now with my new qb I just built would be.

Josh

So your saying the sim changes from season to season or sometimes only every few seasons. So your gonna build a QB from scratch now to conform with the current state of the sim, when your QB wont mature for quite a few seasons and by then the Sim will have changed again.....

Gotta roll with the seasons man. Todays good idea is tomorows bad idea.

you need both to be a successful QB.

if a QB has 100 confidence but 20 strength he will the Cordell Stewart of GLB.
if a QB has 100 Strength but 20 confidence he will the T.O version of a QB and when he throw an incompletion he crys and leaves the game.

we know that... Would you rather have 70 strength, 60 con or 60 strength 70 con

70 stength 60 conf because at some point your QB cant really get much more confidence but strength keeps helping his accuracy and passing distance.

Looking at my player as the game goes on, I am becoming a fan of CON. I am playing on a team that is not great and am suffering morale at the end of each game. I am not saying it is better, but it clearly plays a large roll, one that is often over looked because it is not quantifiable. I think CON will help your build whether it is a STR or VIS build.

Seems like a 1 QB vs 2 QB system also affects the answer to this question....

Strength is slightly more important than confidence, but only slightly, throwing and vision are more important.

I've always gone on the ratio of throwing>vision>strength>confidence at the ratio of 100>90>80>70 hasn't done me much harm.

All I was basically saying is Keep Strength equal to Vision. Your making it sound like thats a horrible idea. But yeh sim changes. Just like Speed DE's dominate over Agility based DE's
