Im the owner of the Austin Alcoholics and Im going to let my backups start the last game of the year. This game has no playoff implications, since our opponent has been eliminated already and our spot is already locked up. I'm doing this strictly to let players that have kept up with the game and contributed to my teams success a chance to start. If anyone has a problem with this let me know. Thank you

I am the owner of the Austin Breakers and am in the same situation as you. I think that it is a good idea and am considering doing it as well.

I agree...If you team is pretty much locked into a position, it's a good sign of respect.

Unfortunately, I can't do this for my team, because we still have a good chance at moving up in the seedings.

Actually, at this point Husker Nation, I'm pretty sure your backups could beat us anyway. We couldn't beat the Gods, hard to picture us beating the Warriors. Appreciate you playing the starters, though, best way to improve is to play the best.
Lincoln, huh? That's a coincidence, our football league that runs the team is based out of Omaha. (Not me, I'm just outside Dallas...the rest of the guys are in Omaha, though. Offutt (sp?) AFB to be exact.)

Yes, Offutt AFB is in Omaha. I am in Lincoln, and attending the University of Nebraska, even though I'm 31 years old.

Heh, I'm pretty close to Omaha (Des Moines). I went to school in Omaha at Boys Town.
Small world.
