Trying to make him a MLB. He's my first player so I started spending SPs on Special Abilities way too soon. I am trying to decide between retiring and reusing my name or putting the effort into saving his build. Let me know if you need more info.

I would retire. At this point it's going to take a very, very long time for him to catch up.

Next time try to avoid spending SP in SAs, especially if you do another linebacker. They need too much in the way of attributes to worry about SAs at all before level 40 really. Also, go to the wiki and read up on cap focused building or slow building.

If you really want to play him at MLB you are going to have a tough time. You could play him for another season or two before retiring, he won't look that bad vs the competition until he's level 40 or so. It's going to be difficult to save the build, not only because you spent a lot on SAs and didn't cap attributes, but because you spent on SAs fairly poorly (too unfocused) and capped only speed and agility while hoping to play MLB - a position which does require at least some strength, and decent tackling and vision.
