I am about to face our leagues No1 punt returner in the playoffs.

Does anyone have experience of moving the punting slider ?
I have kept mine the same all season so far ....

Would I be better advised to try for longer kicks or higher kicks in order to minimise his return yardage ?

If it follows basic football, higher. It gives your team more time to get to the returner before catch.

I have mine set to 50 hang time and I still got a medal this season. Higher kicks are far better for the team. The most important thing you can do is to be punting out of bounds or in fair catch territory as much as possible. The net punting stat in this game isn't too important compared to where the LOS begins after the punt.

I just did the Andy Lee approach and set it to -100 for distance punting. I figure if I just boot it, my coverage will get to the returner far downfield and stop big returns.

I had some relatively large returns in some games, but overall, my net punting average was (I think) pretty good
