Yeah, good game with the Leapers--you all are a solid team. My SS is actually leaving the Monks for next season, but I'm sure they'll be fine. I don't really check the EE forums, though--not part of the management for that team (I just have a player there).
And . . . you linked to a preseason game . . . which is pretty much meaningless.
But all this is speculation. If you didn't gameplan for the scrimmage I posted than you haven't really played a game yet . . . so the "league's best defense" is a bit premature, don't you think?
Shut down one of West's final four (or succeed in not being shut down by Carolina . . . they're more of a defensive team) and then we'll have something to go off of.
Not really bashing Columbus--you all look good--but until you play the top Western teams there isn't a "league's best defense."
But mostly just trying to start a debate.
Carolina's special teams is very good too.
SO what's my offense, chopped liver? lol (I'm Carolina's OC)
It's decent at best. The defense and special teams are carrying you IMO.
You do realize some people save their best stuff for the playoffs and coast the last half of the season after they already made the playoffs? lolAnd lose home field advantage, including ticket and concession sales? Doubt it,the goal is play to win bro. Game 16 should have been a loss by 2 scores but we fumbled in the redzone which gave you the opportunity to tie the score. Our playoff game your defense was stingy, but you special teams was the real factor.. Like I said the offense is lacking fire power to compete with the other top 3 teams.. You deserve the 5th seed IMO. Not meaning to offend of course. Nice try on the "coasting" pitch though. lol Very cute
