You have issues.

I'd wager that you have some too. This thread being moved to FB talk for one. An odd move, but perhaps to hide the whole "build HB's for 200 points instead of 300" copycat's that would likely follow?

Honestly, that FB is being built to be a receiving FB, as you can see with his open build, I'm training catching up, along with Vision and Jumping.....I just used him on my team this season to mess around.

I wouldn't say jealous.

I would.

I wouldn't.

Jealous (as defined from Princeton's online dictionary):
# covetous: showing extreme cupidity; painfully desirous of another's advantages; "he was never covetous before he met her"; "jealous of his success ...
# suspicious or unduly suspicious or fearful of being displaced by a rival; "a jealous lover"

The first bullet doesn't apply, as I said, my team uses the same advantage.
The second bullet doesn't apply, as not only is my team using the same advantage, I'm also in the process of building my own FB along the same lines: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1231320

If you get one that works, I think it would be great. We've a receiving FB on the Mustangs (a blocking FB, receiving, and rushing, thus the 3 FB's on the team) and even calling FB pass plays, the QB for some reason prefers to look the way of a WR in most cases. Frustrating since the FB is often left uncovered.

Why did you link your FB? He's terrible.

I may use him as the receiving HB also. Does that make you angry?

Why would that make me angry? I suppose my wishing you good will in getting one that works effectively somehow didn't give you warm fuzzies, or perhaps created some kind of inner turmoil. If it'll help you make it through the day, by all means, picture me cursing, ripping my keyboard from the PC and throwing it across the room, followed by punting any nearby kids/dogs/cats as well.

That sounds pretty angry, tbh.

You seemed disgruntled in your first post about using a FB in the HB position, hence the reason I thought it would make you bitter if I used him as a receiving HB.

I wouldn't. (you've a solid chance of getting the last word. I've already exceeded my typical thread activity so I obviously can't hold on much longer)

Of course he's terrible. He's level 17 and being built to be effective when he's twice that level. I just linked him as evidence that I'm constructing a ball-carrying FB who will be used in a similar role. I never made any claims towards his competence.

You did correctly sense a level of disgruntlement, but it wasn't meant to be aimed at your FB. I suppose I could have left out the "Not really impressive" comment. That does look assy of me when I just read it again.

Any level of disgruntlement I have is more at having to spend 300 flex points on positions like QB's, HB's, and WR's. Especially when QB's and HB's aren't as in demand in GLB as they are irl.

Edit: are changed to aren't

HB's have better SA's tbh....and their speed naturally levels, huge difference.

I was considering expanding it further, but I just felt that it may have been taking it too far and as a result, diminish the anger to more comedic value. It is good to know that I was able to properly capture the desired emotion.

Yes. The Speed not leveling is another peeve of mine. It makes high level blocking FB's focus too much of their SP's into speed, just to remain useful.

The new FB blocking paths helped some, but we've FB's with a speed of 68 still getting passed on some plays before they even reach the line.

Around level 40, you'll be passed by better built running backs....both HBs and FBs. You spent too early on speed, and neglected the auto level gains in the primary stats.

You should have saved the boosts, retired him, and slow built him more efficiently.
