Obviously the higher vision the better. But I would like to know if anyone has any theories on where vision is high enough to get off the line quickly. I am thinking of maxing out the Jump the Snap VA on my DE, but would like to know how much vision is enough to justify doing that.

Of course 100 vision would be great, but I'd rather spend those other SPs elsewhere.

So does anyone have any idea on what range I should be shooting for with vision to have a good chance at getting off the line quickly?

The higher your vision the LESS need for Jump the snap

All Jump the snap does is help you pass the vision check earlier. If you are passing the vision check on the first tick without JTS, then it provides no help at all.

IMO, if you have 62 vision, you will probably pass the vision check on the first tick 95+% of the time, and on the second tick most of the remaining 5%.

Where I think JTS is good is if you have 48-55 vision. JTS allows you to leave your vision there and not spend anymore sp in vision.

When I first starting building one of my DEs I made Speed Agility and vision his top 3 priorities. (Working on strength now.)

(level 35)
85 Speed
83 Agility
61 Vision + 10 in jump the snap.

He's had pretty good results this season. (Keep in mind, the league is nothing to brag about)

37 hurries
25 sacks

I wasn't sure if JTS was overly necessary since he gets off the ball pretty well anyway. I guess if Bort offers a reset this offseason I'll go elsewhere with my vet points.

Thanks for your input guys.
