I know that improved lead block pathing was supposed to be improved going into this season, I'm just wondering if anyone has seen a big change in the performance of their FB's blocking. I'm still seeing a lot of plays where the FB just sits on the line of scrimmage not blocking anyone but I am trying to figure out if that is "working as intended" or if the FB's are failing vision checks or something.

The big improvements were to blocking on pitches and the pathing is significantly better for those. Can't say I've been watching a lot of plays this season though so don't have much input on inside runs.

Thanks. Inside runs is where I am seeing most of the "sitting" on the line of scrimmage. I agree that outside runs definitely seem better this year.

Mines having a bad season. My FB seems not to see the SS in some of the plays and does not block it even when he touched the SS. (by touch, I mean the dots collides)

With my low level in BBB, yes, without a doubt. Up the gut and runs around the end. He got his a** down field early on. His performance dropped a tad mid season, though. It was either nerfed or I might have rearranged AEQ on gotten rid of a block chance piece (can't remember for sure). When he was studly he had one point in down field blocker VA, fwiw.

FB wouldnt have done either of these last year

probably nerfed the run in the middle my think
noticed a drop off as well and of late the HB is favored as before in that role
I did notice a drop in the Broke blocks when carrying as well
