Stamina or In Game Breath. Is it accounted in real time while the play is happening? Or is it recalculated each time after the play is complete? Always wondered that...
Not that I am among the ones you are addressing, but Bort has written that there is an in-play stamina formula. For instance breaking a several tackles on one run takes a big toll on the players stamina on that separate play.

thanks.. Was wondering.. think CB here got caught because he was getting tired? He does have lower stamina than usual. Or maybe the HB just had slightly more speed.

I bet their speed is like 30 points different, so many things in this game make no sense

It would make complete sense with in play stamina. I know this game has flaws but imagine this, Jerry Rice didn't have the best speed. But his stamina was unbelievable. He would catch the ball the defender would start to catch him and then just start falling back. The defender was faster in a shorter distance but Jerry just never seemed to slow down. BTW I just wanted to bring that up for discussion...

Every time your player does something, his "current breath" is reduced. At the same time, his "freshness" is reduced by a small amount. The lower the "freshness" value gets, the more quickly the player's "current breath" is depleted from doing things.
