I think thats not 100% true because even if you arent getting thrown at, someone else on your team is. Which then leads to the question, would you rather be thrown at 20 times a game and get 15 PDs or have your team mates get thrown at 20 times and give up more than 10 catches?
If one corner can not get thrown at and the other makes a pick because of more opportunities, then it depends on how many times the CB with the picks gets burnt. If he gets burnt for a touchdown or two, then one interception isn't worth it.
If you have two CB's, both shutdown, then you better have a good rush defense.
Football is a team game. It is a matter of how good the team as a whole is, how a build fits in with a team, and how a team uses each player. You can have a bunch of great builds but if they aren't used right the team will suck. Different builds can succeed, but if the right build isn't on the right team then they are useless.
My goal is to win championships. I would love for my players to get nice stats. But the stats are meaningless if we don't win.
