coverage or hitter?

I've traditionally liked the coverage tree, but if you're planning on getting a piece of SV AEQ, HH is probably the better choice because I feel like it's got better value late in the tree. Wrap-Up Tackle, Big Hit, and Monster Hit are all really good SAs imo. CD and SV are both "great" SAs, but I don't think there's a ton of value in the tree other than that.
10-10-0-0-0
5-2-3-5-5
is probably how I'd construct my trees atm, and going forward from there I'd add to the last two hard hitter abilities.

Coverage, always coverage.
unless you are building a particular way in which you just want to be a heavy hitter.

This . . . it's possible that you could take the Hard Hitter tree, but make sure you know what you're doing and have a specific plan in advance.

I'm a traditionalist and my guy is a run stopper first and that's been working great for our BBB team all season. We also just shut down a nice back with prolific numbers. I don't know. I'm patterning him after his namesake and Mike Brown. It will be interesting to see if I regret the focus at higher competition.

It depends on your build. You might let your AE influence this as well.
You don't need to pick a line yet. Do the upgrade later when you know for sure where you want it. I've seen plenty of players who picked one line, then started building SA's in the other line.

Personal choice- if you are going to have 50+ Strength and tackling, Monster hit and Big hit are wonderful SA's to have.
In my opinion you can't ignore either tree. All of the pure "coverage" strong safeties seem to be falling behind the heavy hitting strong safeties as of late.
