My guy will be primarily a blocker and maybe catch a pass or two out of the backfield once he grows up. I cant seem to find anything that looks like a decent piece of AEQ. What should I look for???

The best I've seen so far is +2 catching and +3% catch ball chance, but I'd really like something more suited to his primary roll as a blocker. Ideas?

Hold out for Lead Block SA or Quick Cut SA.

I managed to roll up a piece with Get Low SA on, and you could see the difference immediately. Your lvl 16 still, just continue to save bonus tokens and dont worry about AE until the mid 20's

I just rolled a piece of +2 Agility, +1 Spot Blitz,

Is it worth it or should I find quick cut/leadblock

Lead Block and Power Thru for a balanced FB

Rolled a +3 agility, Get Low piece... just switched to it, so we'll see how it goes. FB has 104 str and 71 blocking, so I expect only good things.

it's pretty good. Agility is the only attribute even close to strength in terms of importance to FBs. If you are the primary blocking FB it's pretty useful. I'd rather have a hold blocks % piece than lead block though.

hold block isn't that great for a FB. Idealy a full back bashes a hole by knocking their player to the ground, then moves on to the next target. A held block clogs holes unless the RB is constantly running around the outside of the line or you have a long pass heavy O that needs the FB is in pass protection holding off the Blitzer.

I'm a big fan of First Step. But I block for a very fast back.

that's just not true at the highest levels.

Holding a block is a good ability. I prefer to do this by having lots of blocking but if I had a FB that did not invest in blocking I would search for this AE. I have seen LBs chase down plays from behind after the FB blocked them but they shed the block. This is because sometimes the HB has to avoid other players so he can be slowed up to the endzone.

Also LBs are getting stronger so it takes more to pancake them.
