He's been doing terrible, in the last 5 games he's gotten -1.5 yards in total.

I've 3rd capped speed, 1st capped agility and that's it. What should I cap next? Agility or catching?

get agility up to the 3rd cap then do catching. Don't worry too much about his production right now. A slow built WR will take a while to really get good.

This!

Here's where I'd go from where you're at:

EQ
ALL SPEED for normal EQ and CEQ. If you want to go for AEQ, stick with +3 (agility or speed) and either Juke or Spin.

SPs
1. 3rd cap agility
2. Soft-cap catching
3. If you wanna really be a burner, take speed and agility to 4th cap (73). If not, move on to soft-capping vision.
4. Soft-cap jumping
5. Hard-cap catching
6. Hard-cap vision

Train (under the assumption that catching is in the mid 30s already) Jumping/Vision

Hope this helps!

You must really like catching/vision.

At this point IMHO, it's too late to go back and get speed to another cap. The level gains aren't substantial enough by the time you could do it to make it worthwhile before you get more well-rounded/.

3-cap agility (train vision)
2-cap catching (train carrying)
cap jumping/carrying/vision (whichever you prefer... and if you have one at 48 get the other two to 40)

he's doing poorly playing football because you created a track star

are you slowbuilding him and plan to round him out in a few seasons? if so then don't worry about is production. if not, then get his freaking catching up!
