San Diego SkyRockets come into this having a record of 5-3 putting them in 5th place right behind the Houston Spartans. San Diego will be or at least should be wanting to make a statement in the east that they are a playoff bound team and making this statement with thier 3rd league ranked Passing attack, averaging 411.8 yards a game! They have a solid core of WR's with Sid "Tha Kid" Rice leading the way. Thier rushing attack is not as impressive being ranked only 12th but don't let that fool you... thier HB Tyler Craig seems to be a fairly good HB that has to split his carries with two other HB's. One concern should be that of thier D, Pass is ranked 18th and thier rush D is ranked 20 and if they can't protect any lead they get could cause for a close game...
Milwaukee Beermen are needing this win to get them some seperation from those teams that are 4-4 with them know some will lose today. The Beermen are more of a Defesive team than O having a rush D that is ranked 8th only allowing 78.4 yards a game, but thier Pass D is only ranked... 22nd which could cause a pretty big problem today... thier Offense is half way down the pack having thier Passing attack ranked 14th and Rush O of 18th but I think these numbers for them could be miss leading...
Milwaukee needs this win with a team that's is near their caliber of play just to make a arguement for their reasoning to belong in the playoffs... but this is also true for San Diego SkyRockets, both must need wins and we should see a great game because of it!
