More of an OC question but involves a WR. We have 4 active WRs who are all good but the highest level WR almost never gets any catches. He doesn't drop any but either sees no targets or when he does a DB will make a PD. Looking at his build there is nothing to suggest why. Agility is over 3:2, Vision and Jumping are good, Confidence and Stamina are ok. Catching is fine, Strength is quite low, could that be it? Specials are set up more for Possession than Speedster.

Both QBs have no favoured targets.

See his game log:

Something is drastically wrong but I just can't work it out. Is there a tactical setting that could be out of place?

Appreciate any suggestions

I can't open his build but I'll post it here:

Strength:...22................Blocking:...8
Speed:...91.66.............Tackling:...9
Agility:...65.52..............Throwing:...8
Jumping:...47.18.........Catching:...52.51
Stamina:...38.69..........Carrying:...41.38
Vision:...47.21..............Kicking:...7
Confidence:...39.42....Punting:...9

Possession Receiver Abilities:.............67555
Speedster Abilities:.................................53222

Aside from Strength, I can't see anything wrong. I've tried him in the #2, #3 and #4 slots and he is always outperformed by lower level WR further down the depth chart.

Are you saying this is cause for concern? It seems quite reasonable

For a lvl 50 Wr I would say he is pretty bad off in the stats. Low speed, low agility, low stamina, low catching.

THat could be your problem. You are just playing against people with better builds. IMO

Problems
1) He's slow
2) He should have more points in first step and quick cut

Hmm...this is only an AA league, not sure how much better you think opposing secondary will be. Granted, we have better WRs but I'm surpised he simply can't catch a simgle ball all game. He's been outperformed by a level 34 WR on some occaisions.

EQ is all in Speed. I don't need him as a Speedster, we have guys over a 100 but I just want him making a contribition.

Corners in AA leagues are gonna be fast and agile enough to keep up with that guy if they are well built and he doesn't have enough catching or jumping to be able to consistently pull down passes while he's covered. Honeslty I would just retire that guy if he's a level 50, but if you're determined to make him a contributor on the team I would take jumping and vision to the softcap since they're basically already there, then just pump the hell out of catching.

Thanks. I don't want to trade him this season and need him to make an impact at some level.

You really don't see anything wrong? Strength is one of the only things you have that is ok.
Speed is low.
Agility is low.
Jumping is low.
Stamina is moderate.
Vision is low.
Catching is low.
Your SA tree's are whack.

Your build can't really be saved at this point.

i agree with this. cap jumping and vision, then second cap catching.
