We meet the awesome and feared #1 Bufford Bullfrogs in a few days. We are so unworthy to even play them that I'm humbled at the thought of meeting them on a playing field. I'm thankful the game only allows us to be beaten by 255 points max. I've heard that the 'Frogs are so intimidating that they don't even sim their games. They just mark a "loss" in your win/loss column that week. Otherwise it would be a bloodbath at the hand of those crazed frogs (meanest frogs on the planet earth I'm told).

Yah I dont understand why the west is screwed up.. I keep expecting it to fix itself.. maybe after this week. I also cant figure out why a 1-4 team is in the top 8 still.. seems odd.

I really think that strength of schedule plays a big role in it.

When the Postal workers beat my Bullfrogs, and notice I said when and not if, it is completely possible that we will still be above them on the power rankings. As long as we continue to win games against teams that are more evenly matched with us and only lose to teams that are so lobsidedly statistically superior, then we could continue to rank very high.

DW's "Proper" Rankings:

16 - Tijuana Thugs - CPU owned, entirely CPU roster. 'Nuff said.

15 - Los Angeles Cobras - Not really sure what the deal is with this team (probably very new owners/players) but they've lost to two teams that are largely or entirely CPU so they deserve this spot. Probably a combo of bad game planning and player building. No offense if you're a member.

14 - Fresno Anarchs - I'm fairly certain the only legitimate roster they could beat is the Cobras. Another CPU team...

13 - Dallas Orangebloods - Despite a shutout win against the Cobras, they haven't had the weakest schedule yet have failed to put up points against a few fairly low ranked teams. The deciding factor was that they allowed more points against the Dragonslayers than The Westside Warriors.

12 - Cincinnati Owls - They beat Fresno and Tijuana, but they're still CPU; Best of the worst.

11 - ... FCU... - Simply has more potential than those lower (aside from the Cobras.) Not that great of a team.

10 - Westside Warriors - This somewhat human team hasn't yet proven itself, so for me it's lower on the list. They started with a somewhat tough schedule, but I believe they have a bit more oomph than those below them. Maybe I'm wrong.

9 - Emmaus Hornets - They beat FCU. They beat the Thugs by a better margin than most. I would have put them lower but since I put FCU so high and they beat them, it only makes sense they're at least one higher.

8 - PARMA PLAYMAKERS - First team with an actual human roster. They crapped on FCU, but they don't seem to present too much of a threat much higher in the rankings.

7 - Holland Dutchmen - I believe the losses this team has sustained are largely due to an overall poor schedule. I expect to see quite a bit of wins from these guys in the future, but I can't put them any higher than seventh for the time being.

6 - Bufford Bullfrogs - Not a bad team, but their schedule has granted them some luck early on. We'll see what happens as the season pans out.

5 - Toledo Bullfrogs - In my opinion, the "worst of the best." They lost to the Dragonslayers by shutout, but their roster is solid on both sides of the ball.

4 - Miami Breakers - Undefeated as of yet, though they haven't faced any truly challenging teams. They did make the Dutchmen look like a cupcake, which is notable. I can't put them lower on principle alone (not that I want to in the first place.)

3 - Wheel City Dragonslayers - Could defeat the Pigs, but I don't see it. I rank them third because of defensive roster strength over Miami and Toledo. Their one loss is to an Eastern team (a strong one,) so again this is irrelevant.

2 - Long Beach Guinea Pigs - This may be contested by some, but the Pigs do have a stellar offense (ranked best in West atm, possibly due to schedule strength) with a few defensive weaknesses. If that shapes up by playoffs they'll be the top contender for Conference title. Faced the team tied for first in East and lost, similarly to Postal Service.

1 - U.S. Postal Service - In my eyes this is the number one team in the season. They do have a loss, but it's not to a team within Wastern conference, so it's irrelevant (especially since it was against the top team in the East.)

I think the Bullfrogs need to be tested for 'roids. Clearly they are NOT your ordinary frogs:

I will make sure to take it easy on you when we face you. I won't embarass your team too much I promise!j/k We are not the team to beat this year, but we will be at least competitive to most teams! Each year you will have tiers of teams and we aren't in the first tier in the western conference, we are on the top of the 2nd tier!
