I have a FS, and have 2 AEQ pieces with % chance to intercept.. I know that will help at least a little.

But would "catch ball chance" also help, as an interception IS a catch? Or no, since Bort obviously made the distinction between the two in actually making a "catch" and an "intercept"?

Catch ball won't help as much as intercept chance, but it would help slightly. It will only help when you actually get a catch roll on an int. Int % chance gives you a higher chance to get the catch roll. In other words you will rarely use your catch % chance as much as you would use an int% chance.
