Without anything else, here is this weeks predictions:
Game #1 - Pennsylvania Steagles (#13 1-3) vs. Jacksonville Canaries (#11 1-3) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=383&team2=52 -- This should be an exciting game to watch as both teams score a lot and both teams give up a lot. I expect the Steagles use some of their rust belt scrap iron to build a cage that holds the Canaries.. just barely. 93-81 Steagles.
Game #2 - Chicago LMG Accountabillibuddies (#8 2-2) vs. Atlantic City Aces (#3 3-1) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=784&team2=758 -- While Chicago has Beer and Brats, they don't do well in poker games. Frequent bathroom breaks results inthe Aces getting a chance to peek their cards and pull out a convincing win. Aces 77-14
Game #3 - Cleveland Kardiac Kids (#9 2-2) vs. Houston Oil Rig Workers (#15 0-4) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1229&team2=726 -- The hapless riggers don;t put up any sort of fight worth mentioning. I got nothing amusing to write. Kids up 63-17.
Game #4 - Detroit Dominators (#16 0-4) vs. Dalton Dragons (#5 3-1) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1263&team2=1589 -- Another boring game to call. Sorry folks, I got a Defense to work on for my team and I can't make anything amusing of this matchup. Dragons 255-3.
Game #5 - "Quick Stop" Clerks (#10 1-3) vs. Biggold Brawlers (#12 1-3) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1430&team2=91 -- Their records are the same, but the Clerks have had the tougher run of things. I think they bounce back, handing Biggold a loss in a close game. Clerks 48-45.
Game #6 - St. Louis Knights (#2 3-1) vs. American Cardinals (#14 0-4) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1591&team2=856 -- The Knights should be happy I'm calling a game for them finally. Of course, how could I call against them. Cardinals can be territorial and feisty but they can't get through the Knight's armour. Knights 255-14.
Game #7 - Enterprise Venom (#7 2-2) vs. Toronto Arctic Wolves (#4 3-1) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1718&team2=61 -- I think this is going to be a coin flip game. Both teams are good but the Venom seem to play below their levels and this gives Toronto an edge in game planning. Expect the wolves to outrun the viscous black goo. Wolves 37-33 Ayooooooowah!
Game #8 - New York Mustangs (#1 4-0) vs. Chinese Bandits (#6 3-1) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1773&team2=1580 -- I'd like to think the screaming billions of fans that the Bandits have, and their familiarity with steppes ponies might give them a chance, but the Mustangs are a different breed and just too much for the swarthy mongolians to handle. I give it to the Mustangs 56-48.
