Comparing to it baseball, no one in their right mind would rather play for a successful triple A team then for a Major league team even if it is not a successful one.

The reason that people in real life care about that is because the money is actually useful for something.

tbh I don't think that Dallas would even fare well in AAA#1. They'd struggle to make the playoffs.

The fact is there is a lot more to recruiting than just the chance to win right now. The quality of the people on the team, how much confidence people have that the GMs and owner know what they are doing, if the team has money, a plan for the future, etc. All these things factor in. I don't think you can say that an AAA team = a minor league baseball team. Minor league baseball teams don't ever get promoted to the major leagues, and they are farm teams. AAA teams are not designed to be farm teams or feeder teams for the Pros. Every Pro team does not have 1 specific AAA, AA, A, BBB team assigned to them where they develop talent like in baseball. The situations between GLB and MLB are totally different, and the sooner you look at yourself and why you are having difficulty recruiting and stop blaming the system for it and making a comparison that doesn't really work, the sooner you will realize you can't do it and accept the consequences or the sooner you will realize what you need to do, change, and become successful.

Well put. This system is like MLB in the "names" only (AAA, AA, A). I've seen it mentioned before but this is much more like the European Premier Soccer Leagues and their promotion / relegation systems.
