How about a CB who gets a normal (30+) amount of plays every game at the CB position with the lowest stats possible?

That seems good as long as we can assume he doesn't get burned a lot for TDs or burned and has the safety pick up the tackle.

what defines a good CB? i agree: probably a lack of stats.

my CB (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=293232) always was good at PDs, but this year he doesn't get thrown at at all. something definitely changed.

he played 4 games and has 9 tackles and 6 PDs while playing 55.8 plays/game. of those 9, he tackled the HB eight times and once the TE - all were not his responsibility in coverage.

does that make him a good CB? maybe, but i didn't change a whole lot in comparison to last season. in my opinion, you can't judge DBs by stats, you have to know their build and you have to have a good DC.

just my two cents...
