(The Outlaw is 7-2 so far in the season.)
This week, there aren't a lot of close games going on in either conference I don't see much of a shake up happening, but there are a few close games in the west, and one is the east, which is a big game.
West
Showcase
Colorado Mustangs(2-1) v.s. PackMentality Werewolves(3-0)
The Mustangs are fresh off a loss to the top team of the West. The PackMentality Werewolves are still for the most part an untested team. This week the Werewolves are going to get their true test, and if they win this game it'll prove they deserve to be in the top teams. However, I think the Mustangs are too tough to lose this game.
Mustangs 35-14
Deadwood Destroyers v.s. N'awlins Showtime
The Showtime bring their 1st place passing game, and 5th ranked defense to face the 4th best offense in the league. The Destroyers have had two losses given to them by undefeated teams, so what can be done by this team has not yet been shown. This game will tell alot about both teams. However, having the 22nd rated defense against the 1st place offense is probably going to be the nail in the coffin for the Deadwood Destroyers.
Showtime 35-21
Hawaii Tsunami v.s. Boynton Beach Blue Darters
The hardest game to pick in the west, matches a team that hasn't won a game all season against an unproven Hawaii team. I think this game is going to come down to gameplanning. The Blue Darters have already lost to a team they should have beat and were beaten soundly by another similarly ranked team. I see no reason for them to get their first win now.
Tsunami 44-28
East
St. Paul Swarm v.s. Alabama Crimson Tyde
The only good game this week in the east pits two undefeated teams that match up well with each other. This is definitely the hardest game to predict this week. The Tyde have the 2nd best rushing defense, and look to stop the run game of the Swarm. Both teams have lackluster passing games and top rated run games, so it could all come down to stopping the run. I'll give that edge to the Crimson Tyde.
Crimson Tyde 21-17
