Caveat - I'm pulling this out of my ass. I don;t have the time to scout everyone's team and their opponent's team and then try to come up with a real game prediction. I'm just looking at record, chemistry, previous game performance and maybe 'strength of schedule' counting the pre-season games. And even that sounds too complex for me to do in a short amount of time before the games actually sim.
Western Conference: http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=41&conference_id=81&playoffs=0
Note, games are not listed at the time of the creation of these predictions so I am going down the list and listing the games from the present top seed to the bottom.
Game #1 - San Dimas Sea Monkeys (3-0) vs Lakewood Lancers (#12 1-2) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1193&team2=1181 -- This will be a blow out victory for San Dimas. Nothing more to say. San Dimas 255-0
Game #2 - Kansas City Predators (3-0) vs Omaha Invaders (#4 3-0) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=732&team2=763 -- This is a premier matchup for the week. Two unbeaten teams putting a perfect season on the line. Like Barter-town, two will enter, one will leave. Teams are averaging just under 9 points scored against the Omaha Defense per game but the Predators have an excellent Offense. Omaha's Offense has struggled to put up points (Ranked 30th in the league) and the Predators don't have a slouch for a Defense either. (Ranked 4th against the run, Omaha's strong suit and 11th overall). This iwll be a clash of Titans but I have to give the edge to the Predators 17-10.
Game #3 - Fayetteville Fighting Tigers (3-0) vs Cleveland Elves (#15 0-3) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=69&team2=1329 -- Don't waste your tivo HD space unless you want to watch some offensive highlights. Both teams will keep their 'perfect' records. Fayetteville 74 - 12
Game #4 - Savannah Skyhawks (#5 2-1) v Austin Cyber-Demons (#10 1-2) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=678&team2=738 -- Austin broke their losing streak with their last game but the Skyhawks are to much for them in this weeks matchup. Skyhawks 56-7
Game #5 - Gardner Paraplegics (#6 2-1) v Topeka Gunners (#11 1-2) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1480&team2=711 -- While Topeka has the hird best rushing attack in the WC USA BBB#2 they don;t have the passing attack to support a sustained assault against the Gardner Paraplegics and their 4 overall rated defense. On the flip, Gardner has the tools to put it to Topeka and their 22nd rated defense (30th to pass and rush) and I see a blowout. Gardner 61-9
Game #6 - Lewiston Raiders (#7 2-1) v A-Town Dirty Birds (#8 2-1) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1426&team2=1383 -- A Matchup betwen two teams on a trajectory. Lewiston lost to some birds last week and Atlanta has bee improving with each game. The birds are going to give the Raiders trouble again, someone must have killed an Albatross over in the Raiders organisation. I believe it will be a close game, calling it 27-24 A-Town.
Game #7 - Summit Station Stallions (#9 2-1) v Indy Hellcats (#14 1-2) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1533&team2=1506 -- Indy's got talent, and though the score didn't reflect it last week, a solid defense. The Stallions seem to lack some confidence in their abilities, but are competitive and looking good. Both teams lost similar games to the Predators. I call this one a coin flip game. *flips a coin* Hellcats 17-16.
Game #8 - Wellsboro Crawling Chaos #13 1-2) v Los Angeles Ice Drakes (#16 0-3) -- http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1477&team2=1210 -- because these teams are relatively even matched, the game may be more exciting to watch than some of the other match-ups this week. That is, if the Ice Drakes offense can wake up. Likely though, this dragon is still a-slumberin and Wellsboro takes it 24-6.
No ego's were bruised in the writing of this preview. Its purely for fun and not done with any malice or intent to dis your team in any way. I'm pulling shit out of my ass just for entertainment purposes, but if it somehow inspires your loldots, feel free to post it on your respective locker room walls
