One of the better SSs Deadpool on Dryden has 80vision after equip and he played on one of the best teams in the best leagues and played consistently well. I don't think vision kills like you're implying. Might be something else in your build

I thought high vision helped them get an early jump on developing run plays and what not....and for a SS...I thought that is a key factor.
