Showcase Game
-Mustangs(2-0) v.s. Troopers(2-0)
These teams match up well on paper, both teams are lead by their high powered running game. This game should come down to the defense's ability to stop the others ground game. The Troopers have the #1 defense in the league, so I'm gonna go with the Troopers.
College Station 24-17
Bow Chicka Brown Cows(2-0) v.s. Gangstas(2-0)
An interesting matchup here, the Bow Chicka Brown Cows have the 2nd best rushing in the league, but dead last in passing. The Gangstas bring in a much more balanced offense, that is ranked 5th overall. Gotta give it up to the Bow Chicka Brown Cows on the name, but gotta give this game to the stronger more balanced team.
Greatest Neck 38-10
Werewolves(2-0) v.s.Destroyers(1-1)
The PackMentality are the untested undefeated team in the West. Deadwood lost to one of the front runners for the Western Title. These teams have similar match up ratings, but after the crushing defeat that Deadwood suffered, the rankings are a bit skewed. A weakness in the Werewolves may lie in their pass defense which is the only glaring weakness going by the rankings being 23rd overall. The run game of the Werewolves i believe is going to be there savior in a close one.
PackMentality 32-17
Eastern Conference
Crimson Tyde(2-0) v.s.Pigskin Pimps(2-0)
The only game that pits two unbeatens against each other in the East. I don't expect this to be a very close game though. The Crimson Tyde pops out at me as the clear favorites here. The Pimps are higher leveled, but the Crimson Tyde have better builds. The Crimson Tyde also have the 2nd best rush defense in the league.
Alabama 28-14
No other games that interest me in the week. Hopefully next week will be more exciting for the East.
