Thinking +1 quick cut, 3 upgrades to speed when I get equipment money, VA's in short yard monster? (5 TFL last game), and maybe carrying +1...?

SYM might work, i found that elusive's this season either get TFL'd or get >15 yds.
QC is always good, same as more carrying.
So yeah good plan.

I would rather have 95 speed/75 agility than the current 85/82 you're running with right now... I'd go +1 QC right now and save the extra 2 SP so you can go another +2 QC next level. I think that would just about make up for the loss of agility from moving the piece of gear to speed. I'd also try and work on getting catching near the softcap, catching HBs are pretty amazing this season.

101 speed/69 agi would be more like it.

Also, -1 on soft capping catching. Train it to 40+ first. Even then, the difference between 40-48 catching is not much.

yea i always waivered on how much speed he has, and have edited custom EQ a lot but after the nerf for elusives and the power backs started dominating i found a lof of success with high agility.... but this year it hasnt seemed to work

CQ definitely. The speed/agi difference really only makes a difference in consistency imo. The right players and schemes will get you with a higher speed if you don't have the AGI to fake out a well build defensive player. On the other hand, the speed is for the breakaways.

TFLs are a play calling/line problem 80% of the time with elusive builds imo. Single back situations are gonna get you if your line can't make it happen.

My elusive is 85/71 9/5/5/5/6 with +15% fake and he performs well this season, hands down better than last season in so far as his ability to fake out the defenders.

I wouldn't go to short yard monster at all. If another reset doesn't come and you find that your TFLs are indeed primarily a line or play calling issues then those points will be lost.
