Anyone used this in the D Play creator. Seems rather useless since you can only spy the QB. If the QB drops back to pass, anyone know what the Spy player does?

The player will keep spying on him because the QB might scramble. He will just stay in position to be ready to tackle the QB.

I haven't used it yet, but hte question is how long does it take for the LB or whoever is spying the QB to read the play once its handed off?

Once the ball is out of the QB's hand the LB will react to the play

I was thinking the same thing Coltzilla. I have designed a few plays with the spy function to see what really happens

It could be useful in the Pee Wee's where running QB's are the norm.

But do they have to pass a vision check on how soon. They sure are slow to react to my qb rolling out

Meh, QB Spy "works"...it isn't really a complete shutdown to a QB run, but it does help.

I think I found it really should only be used by linebackers, it can actually screw up a perfectly in position player's ability to make the proper play if used in the flats:

I have used it strictly for LB's. The higher the vision of the LB the better the result for me.

It works ok for safeties line up in their normal position.

But yeah, if you want a player to contain the flats....put them in the flats.
