My K is a slow build, so he does have more AGL than STR.

The standard procedure is to train KICK/VIS at first, then train VIS/CONF while capping KICK, then train VIS/AGL while capping CONF. As a result, you usually end up with more AGL than STR while working on CONF.

When I'm done with CONF in a few games, I'll have to figure out what to train next while working on VIS. There aren't any obvious options at that point - STR/JMP, AGL/SPD, AGL/STA seem like the only useful ones.

How about Strength/Tackling? After all, kickers will need to make the occasional tackle on kickoffs.

There are 10 better players on the field when it comes to tackling. The kicker is a specialist, not a generalist. He is better served increasing kicking stats by 1% as opposed to non-kicking related stats by 15%

I was thinking of bringing my tackling up, but then realized that what I really wanted to do is get a touchback every kick so that nobody has to make a tackle...

At high levels, you run out of things to train. My level 54 has to switch between Jumping, Tackling and Stamina, and they're going to be hitting 30 soon.

My P is training strength (at 61) + jumping (at 32), figure it's got the best value left.
Maybe after I cap agility and jumping fades into high 30s, I'll go to vision (63) + agility (49).

I'd do capped attributes before tackling, for sure

i dont see how jumping effects punting. I have a punter that i put NO points into jumping and im top 10 in league.

THIS JUST IN: After much testing on a couple of kickers who just went gold as well as my own who have not quite reached yet,
I think I finally cracked the GOLD BAR CODE for kickers!!!
Using base ATTS only: 5/9 Kicking + 2/9 Confidence + 1/9 Agility + 1/9 Vision (79+= GOLD)

I am about 99.9% certain that extra confidence is needed and about 98% that THIS IS formula...
As with punting, strength is NOT part of formula (though not unimportant IMO)

Formula CONFIRMED by one of my own kickers...
BTW, Special thanks to Packman97 and TheGreatPuma for their assistance with this!
