super elusive it is. with all the data in this thread we can see what happens with SE on 3 different types of backs:

Capped, Second capped, third capped...all running the same style.

My Hb also has 35 confidence. WOnder if that is a factor. Could account for the "scared bounce" from staggart's player.

Although i think its just that play...if you notice, he is running STRAIGHT FOR THE SIDELINE. Bort said SE gives you more LATERAL movement. so if SE fires when he is running TO the sideling...he moves LATERALLY...but in relation to the direction he is running. it looks like an up/down movement to us, but in the first person view of the HB, its lateral movement.

That is what i think that is.

my skepticism about vision is b/c of back's like staggart's. guys who get vision up to 60 and still run into the same problems of loop-running, unnecessary cuts at the end of runs, etc. these are the exact same problems that guys with 30 or 48 vision are having....so what's the benefit?

This is what cpta is doing. He is trialling out very high vision to see if that gives any added effect and works better than vision at 30-48. If it doesn't work then he has saved us a whole lot of time and effort and we can now sit happily with 1st-capped vision and load up on everything else. If it does work and his back turns into an all-seeing back, then well we have something to aim for don't we?

oh i'm not knocking the experiment at all. i've been watching it for a while, but i'm still seeing a lot of the same things in his replays sadly

vision should definitely be useful, i'm just not sure it's been implemented correctly so that it nets the positive effect it should.
