My QB is level 15, he'll be 16 soon.
His stats: 73.6 throwing (equipment will go here at 16)
52.6 strength
52.6 vision
48.6 confidence
32.6 stamina

I plan on raising confidence because he threw an interception last scrim and his morale was at 11 after the game.

I was wondering, what tactics and slider bar would you use for this QB?
The first game he played I had it set to medium passing style, he did okay. Favor long passes was off.
Second game was a tougher team (lost the game, tactics aren't 100% yet), I changed favor long passes to on and set his passing style to -80 in bullet, and his completion % went up but he threw an int. The defense was noticeably better all around though.

I'm thinking this has a lot to do with where your WR's catching is at.

Lots of Bullet gets dropped or deflected when your receivers have catching below 60.

Anyone else agree with this?

good to know
do you think there's a correlation though between lofty throwing and interceptions?

i think there would be a correlation between lofty and pass deflection as it relates to bullet and drops. I'm starting to question how interceptions are rolled on cause I threw using bullet all last season and had my highest interception total.

Im going almost all bullet just because i hate throwing the ball slow.

Maybe ints are mostly due to good defense and llok's analysis of bullet/lofty is correct?

i tested varying bullet percentages during the pre season and my qb threw more ints on the higher bullet settings in certain routes. it seemed my qb was under throwing the ball a lot and getting int's or deflections even on short passes despite having decent strength i think more lofty gives the defense longer to get into position, but the ball seems to "drop in better", and bullet gives the defense less time, but since the ball has a lower trajectory decent jumping guys can get deflections and int's when they are behind in coverage. To bad we could not set the slider individually for each play type as certain route types more bullet works better and certain route types medium works better.

I would suggest anyone that has a QB pm the OC's before every game. They should be able to tell you the type of passing plays that they are going to be throwing the majority of the game. If for example you have tested the bullet out on various plays, you should know at least to a point where to set that bar. I would try and get atleast 2 or 3 scrimmages set up early on specifically for this, or if your team can handle it, just use the regular season games. Either way communication is the key.
