I appreciate everyone's input! I am excited with some of the things that I see...Maybe Bort fixed a couple things...

The only reason I haven't abandoned it after all these seasons is that Bort isn't dumb...He knows when positions are overpowered or one build kills another. But suspiciously, he never did anything to the power backs. I'm quite sure it wasn't because he didn't see that they were killing it, but rather that he knew super elusives would be just as good if they figured out how to make the build...Hopefully we'll start to figure it out.

Or it's the fact that from seasons 1-7 everybody built D based around SPEEEEED. LBs frequently had 48/48 strength/tackling and were complaining that they couldn't make every tackle on a 100strength/10 Power Thru HB. Rather than nerf the HBs we just build the Ds to match what the offense throws at us. Now it is seen as common pratice to get strength/tackling to alteast 60 each, possibly more on LBs to consistently stop the elite power HBs.

This was also the reason elusives didn't do as well: the D was built towards stopping them.

Basically, more movement on SE, but quicker up field on 50 elusive...

Aha,

low vision causes that DIP away from the defenders. My HB ran on SE and didn't do that at all with 68 vision. Check out my vision results thread i just posted. you will notice that my HB took the straight route.

Basically SE is nerfed unless you have high vision
