And in League Standings Order...
1) Woodridge Lumberjacks
Record: 12-0-0 (1st)
Strength of Schedule: 58-86-0 (16th)
Points Difference: 26.7 (1st)
5 Game record:5-0-0
Woo-Jacks still look too strong for most teams, but a big scare against AWC might have brought them back down to earth.
Back to dominance against Razorbacks, the Woo jacks pursuit of perfection starts now. With FTA Monarchs and Warriors on the horizon.
FTA have the perfect set up to capitalise on any chinks in the Woo-Jack armour, and this is a game Woo Jacks need to win to stamp their authority on the league.
Needless to say I and my fellow Monarchs wish both teams Luck, good luck or bad luck is the question?
London Monarchs
Record: 11-1-0 (2nd)
Strength of Schedule: 76-68-0 (5th)
Points Difference: 12.1 (6th)
5 Game record:4-1-0
Monarchs continue to grind out results, and seem to be outmatched on paper in the majority of games. Finally getting to face a basement team, last game was the first time all season I felt comfortable going into a match.
Next up is Boondock Saints, who have improved tremendously, before the head to head with the Woo Jacks.
Valhalla Vikings
Record: 9-3-0 (3rd)
Strength of Schedule: 65-79-0 (13th)
Points Difference: 10.9 (8th)
5 Game record:4-1-0
Helluin is probably kicking himself over the early season loss to Blackpool now.
Although Vikings are probably exceeding even their own expectations so far this season, their final set of games is daunting to say the least.
Nice, AWC and Nighthawks will all push Vikings to the limit, and the game against Nice will probably go a long way in deciding home field advantage in the play offs.
Vikings saving grace is an easy interleague game.
Nice Dauphins
Record: 8-4-0 (4th)
Strength of Schedule: 67-77-0 (12th)
Points Difference: 16.1 (2nd)
5 Game record:5-0-0
The form team of Alpha, having worked out the Power Rankings now Dauphins are up to third!
Possibly regarded as the less successful version of the Patriots, their lack of depth secure maximum playing time for possibly the highest avg level set of starters in the league?
Nice finally made some roster movement recently but are they getting stronger or not?
Their next games againt Vikings and Nighthawks are winnable, and they have two easier ties to end the season.
FTA
Record: 8-4-0 (5th)
Strength of Schedule: 63-81-0 (15th)
Points Difference: 13.1 (3rd)
5 Game record:4-1-0
FTA always seem to be the most balanced of the Aggie teams, and this is obviously paying off.
But despite a good season so far, and my endorsement last time, I am almost sure that FTA will be awarded the 'Best of the Rest' Award at seasons end.
Their 4 losses this season came at the hands of Monarchs, Vikings Nice and Warriors, so FTA last chance this season to prove they are worthy of Alpha Elite status is next game out against Woo Jacks.
(Hows that for bulletin board material
)
Stuttgart Nighthawks
Record: 8-4-0 (6th)
Strength of Schedule: 65-79-0 (15th)
Points Difference: 13.1 (3rd)
5 Game record: 2-3-0
Nighthawks had to rely on 87 yard Kick Return TD to scrape past a resurgent Knights team. For a team looking at a top 4 play off seed a few games ago, their recent form may see them miss out altogether.
Tough games against Who Dats, Nice, Vikings and Bari (Zeta) could leave Stuttgart at .500 for the season.
E-City
Record: 7-5-0 (7th)
Strength of Schedule: 74-70-0 (9th)
Points Difference: 12.3 (5th)
5 Game record: 3-2-0
Heartbreak for Mercs last time out, with a Vikings FG with 0:03 on the clock enough to send the Win to Valhalla.
Not only a tough loss, but one that may be very important in the head to head at the end of season.
Mercs look good to bounceback with two out of four games remaining against Razorbacks and Sandford (Zeta)
But Zick Zack will know its the two games against AWC and FTA that will define his season.
Wembley Warriors
Record: 7-5-0 (8th)
Strength of Schedule: 75-69-0 (8th)
Points Difference: 2.7 (10th)
5 Game record: 2-3-0
Warriors are back in the Play Off hunt, and have a very easy end of season schedule. I fully expect a 10 win season from the reigning Alpha Champions.
But that 11th Win would mean so much to all at Wembley, not only would it probably secure home field advatage, but it would mean they beat the Woo Jacks, and with that kind of momentum, Warriors would be on course to match last seasons achievements.
Aggieland Wrecking Crew
Record: 6-6-0 (9th)
Strength of Schedule: 73-71-0 (10th)
Points Difference: 12.8 (4th)
5 Game record: 4-1-0
I can only assume that Bort and DD decided to put the AWC on the GLB game box cover this season?
The 4 defeats by three points or less is the difference between being 6-6-0 and 10-2-0.
Tough games against Mercs and Vikings are followed by a brief respite against Razorbacks.
But then comes Zeta's One man army out of Huston.
Who Dats
Record: 6-6-0 (10th)
Strength of Schedule: 76-68-0 (5th)
Points Difference: 11.4 (7th)
5 Game record:2-3-0
Another team doing just enough to lose are the Who Dats, with 3 games lost by 3 or 4 points.
A very easy end of season schedule, Who Dats will be looking to finish with a 10-6 Record, if they can fight their way past Nighthawks next time out.
Lyon Sharks
Record: 6-6-0 (11th)
Strength of Schedule: 70-74-0 (11th)
Points Difference: 2.3 (5th)
5 Game record: 1-4-0
6-6-0 is respectable for Lyon, but that includes wins against 4 of the bottom five in the league.
Now without a win in 4 games, the end of season schedule is a mixed bag. Razorbacks and JayHawks (Zeta) should provide some good stat padding, but games against FTA and Monarchs will decide if this season is a success or failure for the Sharks.
Blackpool Mountain Lions
Record: 4-8-0 (12th)
Strength of Schedule: 77-67-0 (3rd)
Points Difference: -11.5 (12)
5 Game record:1-4-0
A very disappointing season from Blackpool.
Next time out they facea Knights team returning to former glory, and this one is really finely balanced.
4 wins see them safe of relegation, but they may not get another win this season.
Paris A&M
Record: 2-10-0 (13th)
Strength of Schedule: 80-64-0 (2nd)
Points Difference: -23.6 (15th)
5 Game record: 1-4-0
Paris are probably safe now, so they will be focussing on rebuilding their squad for next season, and the good news is their last game of the season is against a Helsinki (Zeta) team not too far ahead of them.
Bad news is they have Warriors up next, so the run of heavy defeats looks set to continue.
Glastonbury Knights
Record: 1-11-0 (14th)
Strength of Schedule: 89-55-0 (1st)
Points Difference: 16.0 (13th)
5 Game record: 0-5-0
Despite their record, massive improvements in performances recently has Knights prospects looking a little more healthy.
Finishing the season with a 4-12-0 record is a distinct possibility, and their next game vs Blackpool could be interesting.
Middleton Razorbacks
Record: 1-11-0 (15th)
Strength of Schedule: 76-68-0
Points Difference: -21.3
5 Game record: 1-4-0
Shockingly poor again, there is little hope for Razorbacks staying up this season. And unless big changes happen that will be the first demotion of many to come.
Boondock Saints
Record: 0-12-0 (16th)
Strength of Schedule: 77-67-0 (3rd)
Points Difference: -58.2 (16th)
5 Game record: 0-5-0
Saints rebuilding process started well with a few good acquisitions, but the trade deadline has come at a bad time for the new management.
And as if to prove that fate is cruel their interleague opponents are Rohrheim Stampede, who are one of the top teams in WEPL.

To this day I haven't figured out what went wrong there.
