How often and when do you use it?

I plan on shifting all my linemen to the strong side and then shifting all my LB to the weak side. Then I will custom move my SS and FS to focus up the middle. Let’s see them run against that.

Yeah I got that! I am just curious because none of the guide's mention it and I went through the first few pages of forum topics and came up with nothing.

Hard to really go into detail when only about 15 people have actually used it.

I wouldn't use it until the middle of the season when you have a better idea of the opposing teams tendencys.

Generic line shifts: Almost never
Moving the d-lineman myself to get better gap technique that fits the play being run: Every single one of my d-plays.

I think i've moved the linemen/lbs every play I've designed.

In order to be completely accurate on which way you are going to shift your line or LB for that matter, is by scouting your opponent’s tendencies. Until you get a read on what the other guy is doing how can you say which way you are going to play the shift
