Carrying and Strength if you want him to be a pure power back.

It's going to be an uphill battle. What level is he at?

Move equipment out of agility (to strength or speed). His strength and carrying are not even in the ballpark of where they need to be, nor is his confidence, let alone his SAs. Assuming he's a 40's build you're going to have a very hard time getting him where he needs to be before he starts to decline.

Build is open, level 45: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=250999

Yeah, I'd scrap the idea, he's a S1 player that's only partially boosted through his career, he's not going to get anywhere near peak in S10-11.

Agreed. I would just tell him to scrap the power build and continue with the elusive build. Move all gear possible to speed or agility. All SPs to speed or agil too (put in whatever can cap next).

Alright, i took a look at the STATS of your player and i think i found the culprit:

1. I have a back with double capped vision, just like him. YOu need more juke and quick cut. Thats what will OPEN UP your player and you will see something closer to the true potential.

2, You had a very good regular season YPC average, but it was a lot lower in the playoffs. that is because of 2 things:
a. The plays he was running were not suited for an elusive back (weak i slam to the left and the single back HB slam/OT play are very good)
b. You absolutely NEED to change your slider for every defense you go against. If you were playing on 99 or super elusive against a team with block shedding LBs...you will see some 6 or 7 yard TFLs. I would go with 20-50 elusive. It sounds bad because it defeats the purpose of having 61 vision...but it is necessary, because with 61 vision, you still think slower than the fast LBs out there.

Basically, you need to scout for every game. I seldom played 99/SE against tough teams.

I will say this though, the HB flat and HB flood from the shotgun can give your Hb LOTS of wiggle room even when playing a tough team with fast LBs. With 61 vision you will be running out of bounds a lot less.

As for my HB, i will be third capping vision to see if that makes a difference. i am making a new thread about that as you all are reading this.

I also think confidence is crucial for an elusive HB and it will work hand in hand with vision in terms of making decisions faster.

More on that in a different thread. Stick to the OP for my posts. i would not like to see this HB thrown away before his true potential is seen.

read my new thread...tell him to wait until after my experiment. he can gain a lot from my preseason scrimmages as I post the results here.
