while working on my Defensive and Offensive AI it shows in the AI both these formations but in the playbook they are not there....Is it there or not?

They do not exist. You can just ignore them.

there's a singleback big play in the O playbook. why is it thus? what are the reasons behind this thusness?

Are you sure? It was taken out, IIRC. If you're looking at the old list of plays, and not the actual playbook, it's outdated.

saw it when I clicked on the O playbook thing ('For a list of offensive plays currently in the game's playbook, please click here.') while working on the D AI. just checked, its still there.

Yeah, that's not the playbook. It isn't actually in the playbook - just in that list that's outdated. Just another case of incompetence rearing its ugly head around here. Nothing to see, move along.
