I saw someone post, after I posted this, have at least 4 FS then go to 8 QC and stay 1:2 from there?

I may try the 5 FS and 9 QC see if I can finally get some separation.

FS has to be at least 4 if you want 8 QC. I think FS does have some use, but I wouldn't take it any higher than what you need to be able to get QC where you want it.

QC. FS will really only help when you first come off the ball. if a defender is playing anything other than close their cushion will negate that, but the boost from QC will help in route running and avoiding tackles

I would rather have more catching tbh.

I personally really like QC, as I feel it helps get seperation from the CB....I also like FS as it also helps re-accellerating if you have to stop to make a catch....I prefer to get open first, above a slightly quicker jump off the line and the run after the catch, if you have to stop for the catch, so my strategy is 1:2 FS/QC....

FWIW, bort stated that FS isn't just from a dead stop, but also works when your player's speed falls below a certain threshold (like when a RB runs through a pile at the line).

i'd just rather not lose the speed making the cut

This, I think running better/faster routes is more important.
