Definitely one handed. Read the bottom part of the decsription - added levels "Increase the chance of catching an out of range ball". That's solid gold.

For AEQ or just to blow SP? I guesstimate they will probably yield the same amount of % increase to your overall catching ratio, let's say around 5 % if you take it to ten. If it is AEQ do 1 handed as it cost more SP to raise. Otherwise, if you have high jumping, no ball hawk or sure hands then go with jump catch. If you have ball hawk or sure hands the second roll or bonus to deflected passes should help you reel in some out of range balls or deflections.
