I was wondering if anyone had ever done a DE with high Strength and Speed but little agility? If so what are the results. I am going to do 1 experiment build for this upcoming season. Just trying to see if it will be worth while or if I should try something else.

1) You can't tell much of anything until you hit level 40 or so.
2) It wouldn't work very well under the current sim, but who knows how things will look in a few seasons?

I'm planning on doing something like this, except strength will be about the same as agility with speed being the highest.

Hmmm guess I should have looked harder at the teams I play for. There is a guy on one of my teams that has 85 strength and 85 speed with 70 agility.

He averages 26 tackles a season and only 4 sacks....Guess I wont do this experiment.

I don't see how you can consider 26 tackles and 4 sacks a bad result offhand like that. Outside of DEs that play vs. gutted teams or play against weaker teams or in a weaker league, that's a decent result for season 8.

Besides are you considering SAs, secondary stats and VAs?

I have a hard time believing that 85 strength, 85 speed and 70 agility would not do alright in season 8, especially outside of a pro league.

26 tackles and 4 sacks are good and consistent but I am wanting to build a dominate DE if I spend that much time on one.

well if you look in the pro leagues you'll never find one.

the only DEs with a lot of sacks anymore are the ones that play crappy, gutted or CPU teams.

That is simply not true. High-performing DEs are exceedingly rare, but they DO exist.

Yeah, they do. But I doubt they're passing out very much build information

link me one, I've never seen DEs that outperform equal competition in season 8. I don't need their attributes, just stats.

edit: corrected phrasing

This guy did pretty well. He was a force in every game. He did rack up allot of sacks against some weaker competition, but he also did well against equal comp.

Strength: 67.38
Speed: 71.38
Agility: 37.38

Sacks against equal level competition: 12
Games against equal level competition: 7

Not bad tbh.
