Alright, fair enough update time!
First, I'm pretty surprised at the early success. I had me pegged for 8-8 or 9-7, but it's looking like 11-5 with an outside shot at 12-4. Last week's victory over the Cocks was very surprising, as I had myself pegged for a 21+ point LOSS. It's hard to gauge success though, given the fact we are in some early stage of rebuilding. But I think that several excellent teams will emerge from this league, as there is much institutional knowledge here.
Second, the builds are going well. I'm doing my best to leave bars as high filled as possible, hoping to train them over when they are worth 5 SP each (that's like a free level for training costs!). I was lucky to find some halfway decent Adv. Eq. early (mostly SAs) and am almost ready for piece #2 on most of my players. That will pay off down the line I think. I'm not sure whether I'll boost at the end of the season, financially, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense because you only gain 1 level at the end of the day. And it's $125 to boost. Not a huge amount, but that's some nice steaks!
