Noone knows the numbers. All Bort has ever said on the subject is that it is a slight decrease for similar positions and increases the farther out of position the player plays. But he did not identify a numerical value for slight nor has he ever commented on what are considered similar positions.

My observations are that these are the position groups:
HB, FB (TEs and FBs can switch out pretty well)
TE, WR (possibly HB)
G, C, T
DE, DT
LB (maybe ok to play DE at LB and vice versa)
FS, SS (possibly CB).

Thats about as much info as I can give you. There have been NO hard numbers given out.

OK, the only one's that would have little to no penalty, IMO, would be:

OT-OG-C

DT-DE

CB -> FS

The formula is:

Tac99us loses all his attribute points if he so much as THINKS about playing an out-of-position player. Permanently.

Apparently the further OOP you go, the higher the penalty is. Subbing someone else into QB is the higest penalty.

Read this page and the next. That's as detailed as he's ever gotten about it AFAIK.
