I heard from a few owners, that carrying is equivalent to strength in breaking tackles. Where 80 carrying would break as many tackles as 80 strength(not including SA's). Is there any truth in this, if so I think im going to start getting carrying pretty high on my elusive back.

a complete comparison hasn't really been done but carrying does appear to increase broken tackles. see the test blog forum for more details.

There's no way it does the same or more than strength. I tested it before making my power back. The strength back broke a lot more tackles. Breaking Tackles goes like this. SA > Strength > Carrying > Agility. The agility part is pretty negligible.
Strength: Breaking Tackles > Holding onto the ball.
Carrying: Breaking Tackles < Holding onto the ball.
They both help, but one is better for one thing. One thing isn't the best for both. Otherwise these elusives that have over 60 carrying would be breaking a lot more tackles than they do.
