Natural 70(85), in the process of reclaiming equipment. Prolly gonna wait till a scrim or two to see if run more speed or dump the rest into STR.

Season 7 was fantastic, blocking for a slower powerback. Season 8 was a joke so I brought my speed up.

Working on a dedicated blocking back (15) now, will see how my older build matches up before I start breaking 2nd caps on him.

Speed was still important, but the name of the game was the inside run. Lack of global FB speed really killed outside running, poor code or not. If we had quicker FBs I think more teams wouldn't have necessarily needed to go inside all the time and may have taken the occasional TFL for the breaks.

The amount of inside runs this season has little or nothing to do with the speed of FBs. The pathing on them is atrocious so they're rarely run.

a FB with 100 Strength and 40 speed isn't going to lead block anyone, if you build a player to make his bar green and not to be productive than why play this game?

I have 74 right now !!!!

Not there yet. Slowbuilding. I have 36 sp saved up. Training speed/stamina all next season and continuing to save up sp, then will switch and train vision/catching all of season 10.

Lvl 32 should be 99 speed/80 agility with equipment. (I have 2 AE pieces, one +2 agility +1 lead block base the other +1 agility + 2% catch ball base)

Depends on eq but mine is over 70 atm. With RBs with good vision, you don't need as much speed.

70+ in strength, speed and agility.
5 in FS (AEq) and QC

designed to be more than just a lead blocker athough he does do that pretty well (except for the dreadful S8)

If I was building a FB now, I'd put all his equipment in Speed from the beginning. But I'd still wait until I got the majors and minors to where I wanted them before putting any SPs in it. Which means he'd be of little use as a run blocker until, say, level 40.

The weird thing is, blocking FBs need more Speed than rushing FBs...

hey, I am an owner and my player is a FB

ANyways, I have 67 speed, but the 3 first step AEQ really helps. He always gets in front of the HB. He block suprisingly well for a crappy build. My second FB would probably be better and she is 15 levels below my first FB. Could also be that my FB has 67 agility as well. Not too sure. But he blocks really well. Not sure why. Maybe its the points I have in lead block and the Run Block AEQ I have.

I couldn't roll lead block. But I rolled a +3 agility w/Run block piece that has been doing well. They both give a boost to the same attribute (blocking) but the lead block just so happens to be on a FB tree, where run block is on a OL tree.

I noticed my FB was quicker off the snap with the AEQ when it was upgraded to +3 FS.
